Android 6.0 Marshmallow: Smart Tips and Tricks

The Android Marshmallow is the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system and it has so many features that are cool as well as intelligent.

Here are some hidden Tips and Tricks to let you enjoy the newest Android even more.

1.The Doze mode intelligently recognises and stops the apps running in the background when the device is idle for a long time period. However you can control the settings to ignore the Doze mode for the apps.

Go to Settings > Battery > tap the three dot menu (top right) > Battery Optimization > tap Not Optimized > tap All Apps > select individual apps you want to exclude from Doze mode.

2. You can easily silence an incoming call by pressing the volume key down.

3. You can change the setting to display the exact percentage of battery left in the device.
Go to Settings > System UI Tuner > tap Show Embedded Battery Percentage

4.The Quick Setting menu can be customized as per your choice. Launch the Quick Settings menu (swipe down with two fingers), then tap and hold the Settings icon in the top right corner for a few seconds before releasing it. Then appears a popup message that says that the System UI Tuner has now been added to your Settings.

Now, go to Settings > tap System UI Tuner > tap Quick Settings > tap and hold any of the tiles to reorganize them or remove them from the menu completely or tap Add Tiles to add back tiles.

5.Unlike the traditional sharing via WhatsApp, Facebook or Twitter, Marshmallow offers direct share with people without going through another app.

6.You can put a check on the apps that take a bigger bite of RAM. Tap on the Memory Used by Apps to see how much RAM has been used and you can delete or reinstall apps to solve the issue.

7.You can use Google Translate in any other app just selecting a text and tapping “Translate” in the popup menu.
